100th member joined European Machine Vision Association (EMVA)

Stuttgart, November 5th, 2007: At the 4th International Vision Night, on the occasion of the VISION 2007, EMVA President Gabriele Jansen announced the membership of the 100th member of European Machine Vision Association:

The new member, NeuroCheck GmbH of Remseck (Germany), offers turnkey solutions for all fields of automated visual inspection based on flexible, configurable software developed in-house.

Christian Demant, President of NeuroCheck, said: "We have heard so many positive things lately about the EMVA activities that we have now decided to join and to be actively involved in the future. A strong point has been the last EMVA Machine Vision Business Conference in Lyon where obviously all the important players of our industry were represented and enjoyed excellent possibilities of networking and exchange. We now want to be part of it.

The European Machine Vision Association continues to grow - Gabriele Jansen also welcomed the 101st member at the same event and congratulated the Canadian company Pleora Technologies Inc. on their EMVA membership.

Who is currently member of the European Machine Vision Association? - 101 members represent 18 countries from all over Europe and worldwide. Starting in 2003 European Machine Vision Association now represents 92 vision companies, 6 national associations and 3 scientific organizations. It aims to be an industry lobby to support the interests and concerns of its members. The association helps ensure that the cutting-edge technology of machine vision is known and applied worldwide. The main fields of work of EMVA are: standardization, statistics, the annual EMVA Machine Vision Business Conference and other networking events, public relations and marketing.
