Students at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Köln) automated a foosball table as part of their thesis work. The eye of the table soccer robot is a Pike digital camera from Allied Vision Technologies. Thanks to the rapid image processing, the robot is nearly unbeatable by humans.
